Enlightenment via Internet Dregs
I believe that Paths to Enlightenment are as many as countless spokes on a wheel.
Each spoke-- though coming from different directions— has the same goal as its final
destination.
For example, Disneyland.
People coming from different parts of the world would take different routes to get
there. But in the end, they all get to Disneyland.
Isn’t that wonderful?
Unless they take a wrong turn and get lost in Orange County. Then they're in Hell.
I believe one exercise you can practice at home (or office) to help stretch your mind to
contemplate great spiritual heights is to contemplate great spiritual lows.
Where better than in the comforts of your own home (or office), using the greatest
informational tool humanity has ever developed— the internet— to explore new vistas
of thought and expand your mind, your intellect, your conciousnessessess.es?
Like the circumference of a circle—our Spiritual Awareness grows equally no matter
from what point the circle is enlarged.
We can think lofty, pure thoughts of lightness and good, or we can explore the other
end of the scale. Like a bullet ricocheting inside a bubble, each hit expands the
circumference of the bubble, and what particular side gets hit at any particular random
time is inconsequential to the Goal:
The
Widening
of the
Awareness Apertures.
Soaring and Diving.
Some people dwell only in the Light, letting the goodness of their thoughts and deeds
expand their circle of awareness. But, what if cruel reality says they should slip and fall
into the deepest of nightmares, I have every faith they might be somewhat… afraid of
the dark?
As far as one delves into the blackened minds of humanity, one also can soar the same
distance upwards—toward spiritual greatness and purity.
Better to crawl from under the mud of our thought into the Light than to never know
anything but the Light existed.
You must know the chill of its absence before you can truly appreciate the warmth.
But do not dwell too long. Move on when you have delved enough to soar. Don't get
trapped, or salvation can turn into damnation. Don't play with fire.
Don't point loaded guns, run with scissors, or swim after eating, either.
The trick: Stay detached, physically to the material, and spiritually to Judgement.
Pass through the fire of your mind and burn away judgment.
This type of
spiritual control exercise
is not for the weak of mind or the passionately overwhelmed.
